I convert coffee into bits. Lately the bits have had a language model in them, mostly agents that run on a schedule and get things done: memory, file ingestion, retrieval, and the plumbing in between. Anyone can make a demo. I like making the thing that still works after everyone has gone home.

Most recently that was at CloneForce. Before that I was at Eluve building an AI scribe for clinicians, at Altruist on performance reporting for financial advisors, and CTO at Joblist, a job search startup. I got my start at ZipRecruiter in 2014, back when it was still a Perl shop, and stuck around long enough to go from senior engineer to running the team behind the ATS and resume database. I've done the management thing and the startup thing. I like both, and either way I stay hands-on.

What I care about most is you, the user. I take pride in my work, and I like building systems that are still running years later without anyone having to think about them. That means looking a bit further ahead than the next release and making choices that hold up. Find me on LinkedIn.
